The story
Property sites live or die on search. Someone wants three bedrooms in a specific suburb under a specific price, and if they cannot narrow it down in a few taps they go back to the portal they came from.
The filters here are proper pages, not a bit of JavaScript that hides cards. Change the suburb, the price or the number of bedrooms and the URL changes with it, which means a buyer can send that exact search to their partner and it opens the same way on their phone. Google can read it too.
Enquiries are the other thing agencies quietly lose. Every enquiry is saved to the database first and then emailed to the agent for that listing, because an email that silently fails is a lead that never existed.
What I built
- Filtered browse by suburb, price, bedrooms and sale or rent, all driven by the URL
- Listing pages with galleries, full specs, map and the listing agent
- Enquiries saved to the database and emailed to the right agent
- Admin panel for listings, statuses and the enquiry pipeline
- RealEstateListing structured data on every listing
