The story
I built this to answer a question I kept getting, which is what do I actually get for an e-commerce package. Rather than describing it, I built a full store you can go and buy from.
Karoo Coffee sells beans, and beans are a good test because they are never just one product. Every coffee comes in three sizes and three grinds, each with its own price and its own stock. Get that wrong and the whole store falls apart the first time something sells out.
Everything works: add to cart, check out as a guest through Payfast, get an order confirmation. Behind it there is an admin panel where the owner adds products, sets prices, tracks stock and moves orders along. No monthly platform fee, and the person who owns it owns all of it.
