The story
Evetech is the biggest online gaming and hardware store in South Africa, and I work with the team there. I was put in charge of redesigning the site and bringing the whole thing up to a modern standard.
A store this size is a different kind of problem from a small business site. There are thousands of products, a lot of traffic, and a lot of people who came to buy one specific graphics card and will leave if they cannot find it in a few seconds. The redesign had to make the site feel current without breaking the things regular customers already knew how to use.
I want to be straight about credit here: this is a team, not a solo project. The redesign, the look, and the front-end work are mine. Everything else Evetech does runs on a lot more people than me.
